1. Who We Are

Mythic Forge is published by Zanklea Digital, the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy-related question, contact us at support@zankleadigital.com.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect different data depending on how you interact with us:

• At checkout: your name, email address and payment details, collected and processed by our checkout provider (Systeme.io and its payment processor, typically Stripe). We receive your name and email to deliver access and provide support, but we do not see or store your full card details.
• Inside the app: Mythic Forge has no login or account system. Any data you enter — character names, world details, AI provider API keys you choose to "remember," saved prompt history — is stored only in your own browser's local storage, on your own device. It is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Technical/hosting logs: our hosting providers (Netlify) and our proxy infrastructure (Cloudflare) may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps, for security and reliability purposes, in line with their own privacy practices.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above to: deliver access to the Service after purchase; communicate with you about your purchase or support requests; maintain the security and reliability of the Service; and comply with legal and tax obligations.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on a small number of third-party providers, each governed by their own privacy policy:

• Systeme.io / Stripe — checkout, payment processing, and email delivery of your access link.
• Netlify — hosting of the web application.
• Cloudflare — proxy infrastructure used to securely relay image-generation requests.
• Google Fonts / jsDelivr (CDN) — used to load typefaces and icon libraries; loading these resources may share your IP address with these providers, as is standard for any website using web fonts or CDN-hosted assets.
• Replicate / OpenAI — when you generate an image, your prompt text is sent directly from your browser, through our proxy, to the AI provider you chose and authenticated with your own API key. We do not store this content. Your relationship with that provider, and how they handle your data, is governed by their own privacy policy, not ours.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

Our checkout pages may use cookies required for payment processing. The Mythic Forge app itself does not use cookies; it uses your browser's local storage for optional, on-device convenience features only. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

6. Data Retention

We retain checkout-related data (name, email, purchase record) for as long as necessary to comply with accounting and tax obligations. Data you store in your own browser remains there until you clear it yourself; we have no ability to remotely access or delete it.

7. Your Rights

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing, under the GDPR. To exercise any of these rights regarding your checkout data, contact support@zankleadigital.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
